Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, Alejandro grew up in North Carolina after moving to the US in 1985. A high school teacher reinforced his passion for still black and white photography and introduced him to the works of such photographers as Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. Beginning to see the world now through a viewfinder, a Canon AE-1 allowed him to begin shooting, developing, and printing his own images. He strived to photograph the quintessence of the subject before the lens.

Hello friends, Hope this finds all of you well! I realize it's been quite a while for most of us -- far too long! Let's take a time out and spend a fun evening together -- an opportunity to catch up, celebrate a new administration (!!!), and share a few laughs before the year ends ...
